It's a little rubber piece with two "lips" and a grove in the middle. You just slip it in and around the metal cuts and you're protected. If you can't grab one of those, make sure the holes are sanded as much as possible - but it still will never be as good as those rubber guards.

With my GeminII I was getting 35C - 37C idle. 55C load with CoreTemps.

well i have a question. what are you useing to get the temperature?
