*please note on the load temps, i had to stop Orthos for a second and then restart it in order to exit my screensaver hence why it shows up as 44 seconds. it ran for 21 minutes, 46 seconds beforehand*

3.92ghz @ 1.55v. not orthos stable, however it will do 3dmark06 runs just fine. might have to try tweaking the board a little bit more.

ive booted into windows at 4ghz, but it couldnt pass any sort of stress testing.

So overall are you happy with the X38?

Creeps up to 35 when im gaming i think

I just turned my volts down from 1.375 to 1.200 and man did the temps drop.

definitely happy with it. my Gigabyte X38 DQ6 is one heckuva board. i would dare say its the most stable motherboard ive ever owned.

umm....How do you get coretemp to run once loaded? The readme says something about the exe file and administrator,but cant locate it.

Start CoreTemps first, then load the CPU with Orthos or Prime95 (v25.5).

To actually start CoreTemps in Vista, right click and select "Run as Administrator".

For screen shot programs, I use Ctrl + Alt + PrintSceen (PrtScrn) or ZScreen.
