Arctic Cooling MX-2 seems to be the one for me, its on the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro as standard and i like it. Should i spread it on like it is on the ACF7P or how big should i make the pea drop?

If I were you, I'd check out the OCZ Vendetta cooler....very short, and works reasonably well with a quad core processor

INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU

we seem to be missing the main thing how much of an OC are you looking to do? If nothing at all, there's really nothing wrong with the standard intel sink (besides being ugly as hell) And rich did a whole review on a crapload of thermal with the optimum way to apply it, it has to be the one webpage i link to the most everywhere. You can read up about it here:

RIGHT UPDATE...

Ive decided on the Scythe Mini Ninja with the Arctic Cooling MX-2 to be used with a E8400. I hope it fits in the Thermaltake Lanbox Lite... now im just saving for the rest of the parts.

Sounds like a good combo. Let us know how that heatsink fits in that case and how it performs!
