| If you got your CD-ROM drive after 2000, its almost certain to be a 48 or 52x drive. If your system has a PCI-E slot in it, then it defiantly has a 1GHz + CPU Opteron 64 165--1.5GB DDR--ECS KA1 MVP(thanks HL!)--x1800GTO 256MB--Seagate 320GB SATA--Antec 550 Watt--Antec P180 |

| Hey can you guys tell me a good website thats tell you like the graphic card game and performance reviews. I need to know a performance review for the EVGA GEFORCE 7900GS KO in Flight Simulator 2004! AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 1GB OCZ ram ASRock DualSATA2 Evga 7900GS KO |

| I'm Diggin it! | I don't know of a review site that singles out FS2004 as a video card Benchmark. You'd think with how taxing that game is on a video card, there would be plenty of sites that use it. That being said, my GF6800GT ran FS2004 at perfectly acceptable levels and details. The 7800GS that was in my kids computer ran it even better! So your 7900GS will get you at least the 25FPS needed for a game to be playable, and then some. The 7800GS I had would stay around 35-40FPS with details turned up to high. As for your benchmark request, I don't know of any reviews right off hand that include FlightSim 2004. I do know however that there are quite a few 7900GS reviews around the net, so I say browse through them all and see if you can find one that tests something the way you are looking for. You can also check out the Tom's Hardware VGA Charts... | |

| I'm Diggin it! | My kids computer was an AMD X2 4800+ with 2Gb of ram. They had an LCD whose resolution was 1600x1200. As long as I didn't try to max the details out, it ran quite well. | Modder-ator | aaahhh, 1600x1200 is a fairly high resolution. So if it can run smooth, playable framerates at that resolution, then I'd say it is doable on about everything else out there (with 24"+ screens possibly being the exception). |
