Why not just go with another brand?? The HIS X1950XT is a great buy as it comes with a $30 mail in rebate and brings the price down to $249 (after rebate).

Okay, I'm @ School and my friend just told me about this card:
Newegg.com - HIS Hightech Radeon X1950XT H195XTQT256DVN-R IceQ3 Turbo HDCP VIVO Video Card - Retail
Beastly all copper heatsink+fan and its the normal price of the HIS Radeon X1950XT after $30 MIR. SO I'm gonna try and order this one when I get home.

[edit] I'm back home, leaving real soon tho. Looks like the SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950XT is back in stock. Newegg sent me a notification email. However, I'm still getting the HIS x1950XT Turbo. It's clearly superior due to it's cooling (all copper heat pipes + turbo heatsink/fan)

Alot of the reviews are complaining about the driver support, claiming the CAT's don't recognize them and that you have to use the CD.

I would suggest you consider that, and reconsider the Saphire Card. The stock cooler on it is more than sufficient, and if you overclocking, you'll probably need an after market coolar either way.

I just e-mailed the author of this review and got this response back:

False. Using the Catalyst 6.12 drivers straight off of the ATi site now.

Subject: HIS Radeon X1950XT IceQ3 Turbo

Hi Dean,
I have heard that this card is not correctly (or not at all) recognized by
the regular Catalyst Control Center driver. Can you confirm that this is
true or false?
Thanks!
~Blake Terhune
So I would say that HIS IceQ3 card is a great buy.
