| Modder-ator | They consume a fair amount of power and do get pretty hot. As a result, those stock coolers are notorious for being obnoxiously loud. |

| Lvl 1 College Student | What doesn't add up? I do anything that isnt gaming @ 1280 x 1024 and games @ specific resolutions.... Lucky for me I've realized that I don't need silence in my case (yay Logitec z4-i speakers) and I'm doing what I can to increase the cooling power of my case. (buying a PCI-fan blower and mounting as many fans on the back of my case as possible) |

With the Sapphire card I have, I have never had noise problems, can't even hear the fan. ATITool reports the fan at <35% speed, and only if I raise it to 100% manually, I can hear the fan. || AMD Athlon64 3800+ Venice | Asus A8N5X s939 | OCZ Premier PC3200 Du-Ch 1GB | Sapphire X1600Pro 512MB PCI-e | 1xWD 80Gb & 1xWD 250Gb Sata(s) | Antec SLK3800B Case | Enermax NoiseTaker 485W || | |
