| Re: Sapphire 4870 arrived! Yeah i think the stock fan is only 10%, and if it goes past 90 Degrees it'll go up to 40%. Must be all the people who complain about noisy fans, but yeah i found the sweet spot for my 4850s at 75%. You prob have it better cause of the double slot cooler. Blake's THE MAN with Sigs! | F Ucn rd dis U mst uzUNIX | Re: Sapphire 4870 arrived! The double slot on the 4870 at 100% is very cool. Haven't tried folding with 'em yet to see if it maintains though. And I don't think it's putting the core to sleep during idle either. That'll help a bit eventually even more. I'd think if it weren't just the fan speed, it'd still idle at an audible level all the time.  |
