I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

Even with short breaks between maps, you have to keep in mind the cumulative effect, which is why accurate benchmarking for temps should really be run for 30min to 1hr. As the videocard heats up (or whatever other component you're stressing/measuring), so does the air inside the case. And as the air inside the case becomes hotter, so too does the component you're stressing/benchmarking. At some point this levels out with proper airflow instead of having the temps continually escalate, but it takes some time to get there. The difference in your measurements can range from none at all (with exceptional airflow), to very dramatic (with piss-poor airflow), and everything in between.

Um CSS may be 15 - 45 minutes per map but not per round but I guess the break between rounds is minimal.

Yeah, bf2 and bf2142 are usually longer. I used to play raven shield (A LOT) and those rounds were also like CSS, about 3-6 minutes per round but a longer break to check out the stats between each round.

I understand that. That is why I agreed. My temps leveled off in less than 10 minutes....2 intake and 2 exhaust fans are apparently doing the trick.

the breaks inbetween rounds on CS:S are not to be taken lightly as the game is still rendering the map and such whereas other games only displays a static page inbetween rounds which can be 5-60 minutes depending on the game

Yeah, I just didn't realize the short turnaround between rounds in CSS.
