I won't even think about Dx10 until games come out. And even then, its gonna be at least 6 months before I buy Vista.

So, no, Dx10 isn't important to me at all! :)

Good points Ed. It's basically if you want/need DX10.

The way you're looking at it, it doesn't seem like it.

Really? My 6800 vanilla got 2876 in 3DMark06 (overclocked of course).

I haven't even run it on the X1900XT yet.

I have the 8600GT, and for under $200, it's a very good card. Highly recommended.

Your card should have topped 3000. My 6800 was significantly weaker than yours.
