| I have no idea what the government is running. I doubt that you will see much of a antitrust case simply because there are other choices. AMD for chips and ATI for graphics is a lot more of a choice than you get with a OS. I still think it's bad though and I don't see any way that it can't happen unless the price for Nvidia is too high. |

First of all, i'd be willing to bet Linux based systems are right there with Windows based systems in our government. Second of all, I doubt you'll see much pirated software at the government level. Lastly, if you are implying that the government is in some way paid off to use M$ or protect its status....its like that with all large corporations, its called SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS......or lobbyists INTEL E8400 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 4GB DDR3-1600 // Palit HD 4870 // Antec 1200 // Seagate 750GB HDD // Zalman CNPS9700 // BFG ES 800W PSU

| Of course the government won't break up Microsoft. There is nothing to be gained by killing the golden goose. |

You talk about M$, and their 13 divisions not being broken up by the government, then talk about INTEL and a monopoly......what would be different about INTEL adding nVidia? ![]() INTEL E8400 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 4GB DDR3-1600 // Palit HD 4870 // Antec 1200 // Seagate 750GB HDD // Zalman CNPS9700 // BFG ES 800W PSU
