You know ... I believe a single rail may actually be the wiser choice.

Especially if the PSU innards are high quality and its regulation is excellent and has very little ripple. Like the OCZ 550VX [Which can run a 41Amp load and has internals for even higher]

thanks a million for all the help now i need to decide on a video card 256 or 512
what is better gddr3 or ddr3 ?????
looking at 8600gts oc 7900gtx oc 7950gx2 or some others ati 1850 xt 1950 xt 3650

this is the power supply i ordered Ultra XVS 700W Power Supply ULT33183 42.00 after rebate (40 amps)

also go to the psu thread i posted some deals there and a psu amp info for all psu i found on a different forum

I myself have an X1950GT which plays well with all the games you mentioned but a 512MB 8600GTS would probably hold you over a bit longer...
if possible, always choose GDDR3 or 4 over 2 anyday, and if you can get 512MB over 256MB then go for it.
