| It would be nice to see something to compete with nVidia's 8800's. | AMD is promissing the moon on this one but I take that with a gain of salt and a few shots of Yegermiester (I know it is spelled wrong). This is sort of like the performance promisses with Barcelona. I hope we do see something great out of them soon, if they cannot drop a good GPU or chipset on the market before the holiday geek shopping fest they will be hurting until the Tax refunds come in. | Colonel Calamity | they pulled a rabbit out of the hat with the Athlon64... problem was that so many fan bois still touted the power of the P4s that they never listened and got left behind for a few years. It will be nice to see another rabbit on the CPU/GPU front ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| True. I would like to see a great new product come from AMD, but I wish it would be on the CPU front. I prefer nVidia over "ATI" but for AMD's sake, I hope they pull through. I'd like to see that money go to newer and better CPUs :) AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+@3.16Ghz 1.4v Gigabyte GA-M61P-S3 Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 @904Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.2v XFX 7900GS@550Mhz core 870Mhz memory Corsair HX520 PSU X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card Cooler Master RC-690 Stock HSF Accelero S1+Turbo Module |
