Theres a couple different ways to look at this. I personally think benchmarks have their place, as does subjective testing. However, both require integrity on the tester's part. You have to know how to run benchmarks to get accurate and consistent results, and a lot of people don't.

Subjective benchmarking is just that subjective....it isn't scientific, isn't perfect, and many will say its not repeatable. U think [H] brings up some good points, and i agree in principle with a lot of what they say.......my big problem is the manner in which they do it, and their attitude toward everyone else.
