Well I managed to get 2.9 OC on my 2.4, only a 100 MHz drop from sig. :)

AWESOME! What ended up making the difference? Was it just the fact that you started back from fail safe BIOS defaults or did you flash to a newer BIOS?

No bios flash. Started @ performance defaults, and set fsb to 233 and tested.. @ 245 fsb I get the symptoms. So now its set to 243 fsb... 1:1

I run 3dmark05 usually to test my hardware. You can use 3dmark 06 as well.

That's a very nice card ya got there (besides the few problems)...

Considering my system (athlon64 3200 venice + 6600GT) scores about 8400 in 3DMark03, I'd say you're doing pretty well :smt019 :smt023

I wish i could comprate my system to yours but i don't want to go and download 3DM03. i'd say my system is in the 8000's as well.
