I wasn't saying its a bad card, I wasn't saying its a good card.....I was just link an article on another site, and sharing a little humor that i found in so many people telling others to hold off buying a new card because the X29XX cards were going to wipe the floor with the 88XX Series cards.

I'm just not sure whether we have people who can't look at whats written and discern the true intent. (****, I used a big word....thats further going to muck this up).

To kind of paraphrase my posts.....
I FIND HUMOR IN THE FACT THAT FOR GOING ON THREE MONTHS NOW I'VE SEEN SEVERAL PEOPLE (HERE AND ELSEWHERE), TELLING PEOPLE NOT TO UPGRADE THEIR SYSTEM, OR NOT TO BUY A 88XX SERIES CARD BECAUSE THE X29XX WAS GOING TO BE SO AWESOME.

I AM NOT SAYING THE X29XX SERIES CARDS ARE BAD CARDS......

Its very frustrating that people seem to like to argue without really saying anything, or proving a point.

HAHAHA, I do agree with that. There was quite a bit of hype surrounding R600 and it really did feel like a letdown because the product didn't live up to the hype. I guess that's all the more reason not to get sucked into all the trash and rumors that fly around the web from places like XtremeSystems, Fudzilla, and the Inquirer.

Thats the big problem.....those people that go to rumor mill forums, read something that some 14-15 yr old kid "speculated" about, then takes it to another forum....like he has "inside information". it happens all the time.

Its kind of our job to temper this kind of stuff and provide objective information and points of view
