| Modder-ator | The stock cooler is likely to make a good bit of noise. But I bet it will run passively just great with an Accelero S1. |

| ECS Web Site Are ECS any good? warranty and manufacturer wise? otherwise it will just have to be the 8800 GT. ive got quite a while before i purchase anything (april 7th being payday) but ive been reading and found the 9600 GT to be able to adopt audio from the motherboard. Can the 8800 GT do the same? the mobo in question is a Gigabyte X48-DS5 Project Luxray Complete |

| Modder-ator | The audio feature is something that only exists on video cards with an HDMI output. HDMI is able to transmit both a high-definition video source, as well as a high-definition audio source through a single cable/connection. So some video card manufacturers that include HDMI connections on their boards will also feature an audio input so the HDMI port can output both audio and video at the same time. So unless you plan on using an HDMI connection, there's no need to worry about a video card being able to accept audio from the motherboard. |

![]() not to hijack the thread, but speaking of the Accelero S1, where can you buy ram sinks for it? I mean the Zalman VGA sinks are too small to cover the whole Chip. | |
