did all that, tried it twice =( on 2 diff cards. Just gonna leave it to be and stick it to whoever on ebay. Its funny i've gotten asked twice now whether i ship internationally (one to Canada and another to England) when the auction SPECIFICALLY SAYS ship to USA only

To be perfectly honest, you shouldn't do that. The 8800GT is a new core, and of course there will be driver imperfections that will get corrected as new versions are released. My 8800 was sputtering in Oblivion with AA on, and I thought it was kind of waste to spend that much and get those results at 1280x1024. Then a week later, a new driver came out, completely fixed the problem and gained me 10 more FPS to boot.
In short, those cards just came out, the preformance will be a little grainy on some games especially older ones, but with newer driver revisions it will correct itself. Also considering that 8800GT is a beast compared to the GTS 320 you have now.

Well i figured i can wait till they release the rev 2 of the Gts, or maybe save up for the GTX. honestly only picked up the BFG 8800GT because of the sale at bestbuy this past week for 250 + 12% off coupon
