Default Re: [8 Series] GeForce 8800 GT ?

I just bought an XFX 8800GT 512 from the Egg, and it's a fricken awesome card.
The ONLY problem I ran into was the driver CD that came with it wouldn't load
so I just downloaded the driver from the website and installed no problems.

Oh yea, XFX has awesome quality!! I have had 3 or 4 of there cards the last few years, along with Evga, BFG, and PNY. I would have to say that, in my experience, XFX, and BFG have some of the best quality in the industry.
PNY was probably the worst of the bunch!! Personally, I have had nothing but problems with Evga, and have dinked with there warranty personnel with bad out comes more than once.

I just upgraded to the XFX 8800GTS 512 Alfa Dog Edition with a 678ghz and this thing fricking rocks the world!!! Every game at full tilt without a hiccup!!!
Have not personally used an 8800GT, but from all that I have read, it will perform so close to the GTS version, that the extra money that the GTS version is, really isn't worth it.

Thanks for you advice and the listing the experience you had with your XFX cards. This really helps me in deciding without any second thoughts about XFX.
