| I just bought an XFX 8800GT 512 from the Egg, and it's a fricken awesome card. The ONLY problem I ran into was the driver CD that came with it wouldn't load so I just downloaded the driver from the website and installed no problems. PNY was probably the worst of the bunch!! Personally, I have had nothing but problems with Evga, and have dinked with there warranty personnel with bad out comes more than once. I just upgraded to the XFX 8800GTS 512 Alfa Dog Edition with a 678ghz and this thing fricking rocks the world!!! Every game at full tilt without a hiccup!!! Have not personally used an 8800GT, but from all that I have read, it will perform so close to the GTS version, that the extra money that the GTS version is, really isn't worth it. | |
