| Alright, then ill settle for 8800 GT 512 MB Now, can anyone elaborate on the difference between XFX and eVGA. Motherboard CPU Type: AMD Athlon XP 1700, 1215 MHz (11 x 110) Motherboard Name: MSI KT4AV (MS-6712) (6 PCI, 1 AGP, 3 DIMM, Audio) Motherboard Chipset: VIA VT8377A Apollo KT400A System Memory: 1024 MB (PC2100 DDR SDRAM) BIOS Type: AMI (10/03/03) Display Video Adapter SAPPHIRE RADEON 9600 ATLANTIS - Secondary (Omega 3.8.413) (256 MB) |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | Quote:
Evga offers a Step-Up program, which gives you the opportunity to trade-in your card within 90 days for a faster/newer model. XFX does not. XFX offers a 'double lifetime warranty,' meaning you can transfer your warranty to a second owner should you sell or give away your videocard. Evga does not. From a quality and customer service standpoint, that will depend entirely on whom you ask. | |

I cant seem to find eVGA in my country, but XFX is everywhere. Ill ask the store on the Warranty issue but I dont think they will gave as much leeway as they give in US Apart from that, is there a difference performance wise between eVGA and XFX cards ? Both companies offer several different versions of each card, with different clockspeeds. So if you compare a factory overclocked XFX 8800GT to a stock clocked Evga 8800GT, then the XFX will be faster. |

| My guess is that the stores over here provide 1 year warranty only. Motherboard CPU Type: AMD Athlon XP 1700, 1215 MHz (11 x 110) Motherboard Name: MSI KT4AV (MS-6712) (6 PCI, 1 AGP, 3 DIMM, Audio) Motherboard Chipset: VIA VT8377A Apollo KT400A System Memory: 1024 MB (PC2100 DDR SDRAM) BIOS Type: AMI (10/03/03) Display Video Adapter SAPPHIRE RADEON 9600 ATLANTIS - Secondary (Omega 3.8.413) (256 MB) |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | To clarify, the manufacturer offers a warranty separate from the store you purchase the card from. Even if your local computer shop offered no warranty at all, the card will still carry a manufacturer's warranty. I imagine XFX, Evga, and BFG offer this worldwide, but you want to contact them prior to purchase to verify. |
