Do you have any of the Doom or Quake series games? Those games are OpenGL, apparently with the VIA bug, only DirectX is affected. If those games run fine, then it really is the chipset problem.

Well ok lets assume its a chipset problem how to do I go about fixing it then? Because I don't want to nacker my computer lol

Do you have any other games that you play in which you get the same problems as the other two?

So atleast check some other games, and if you keep getting these problems with the graphics, then you'll likely have to get a new motherboard that doesnt use a VIA chipset

Well I just tested it and there aint any problems with the graphics so how do I go about fixing the problem then? What update do I need to download?

Thats not good, that basically confirms if the only does that with DirectX games, and not OpenGL. You have tried downloading updated drivers from VIA, right? It looks like it may be time for a new motherboard.

No I have not downloaded anything from VIA what do I do need from it then? Could you provide a suitable link
