Justin. I think you should forget about the X8## series cards. Unless you go for an X850XT, X18## series card, or an 7600GS or GT you won't be very happy. If your up for some tweaking and overclocking fun, try out the GS. It's really cheap and can be overclocked pretty nicely. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 | |

| The X1800 GTO is a little bit better than the 7600 Gt in a few aspects. If a would have to choose one , ill pick the 7600 Gt. |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | ![]() All tests were run with the following system: INTEL Pent 4 631 Cedar Mill @ 3.0GHz 2GB Mushkin DDR2-533 @ 3-3-3-9 ASUS P5WD2-E Premium Corsair Nautilus500 W/C Seagate 7200.9 80GB SATA HDD Not a lot seperatesd these cards performance wise to be very honest, but more than FPS should play into your buying decision. First, all three cards were pretty noisy with the stock cooling. Second, the ATI X850 XT does not support AVIVO, which to me is a huge draw with those cards. Lastly I'd still much rather have an SLI system than a Crossfire system. All things being considered I'd choose the 7600GT here, but I'd very much like to see the 7600GT up against a X1600 Series card. | Modder-ator | Wow, simply amazing to see how powerful the new "mid-range" cards are getting!!! What resolution is that at? And to be honest, I'm pretty sure the 7600GT will kick the crap out of an X1600XT... An X1800GTO would be a better match I think. |
