My first board was a DFI Infinity nForce 4, and what a crazy overclocker it was..for only 70 bucks. If that Blood Iron is anything like it, your in for a treat.

My NF4 SLI Infinity was a great overclocker too, got like 327 FSB or something!

Yeah, I just received the board today, and what can I say... this BIOS has a huge learning curve! I'll get pics up in a minute...

There is still some foam in the res, but that will go away after a while

I'm still in the process of exploring the incredible overclocking options of this board, but I think I found the max OC of my E4300... in the 3.3GHz range in refuses to POST, at pretty much any sane voltage.

I'll get some screen shots of OC's in a while. Enjoy!

Love your setup, man..looking nice. I might be in the market for a LGA 775 board, and that might be the one to go for.

Just be warned: the BIOS is really hard to get used to. It's unlike any other BIOS I've seen before, but that maybe because I have only had nVidia chipsets in the past. All the options are really nice, but it can be a little overwhelming.

If it has the same layout and detail as the nForce 4 Infinity, I'd have no trouble. I loved that board for the very reason, I could anything with it and there was never anything lacking in terms of tweaking.

Yeah, going from Nvidia to Intel can have a steep learning curve. Nvidia's unlink feature for Ram vs. CPU overclocking is something Intel desperately needs to implement.

YH, that rig is looking great! You've done an excellent job with the bench.

Thanks! Yeah, the unlinked RAM and CPU feature on the Nvidia chipsets are one of my favorite options for them... it's really hard to keep the RAM at 800MHz when getting into higher FSB speeds. You simply run out of ratios.

Yep, that's the most frustrating thing too. You're forced to either run under speed, 3-7 MHz off nominal, or overclock the nuts off your ram. To get a really good overclock and tight timings with Intel boards is a series of compromises. With Nvidia though, you can really tweak your ram for the best of both settings.
