Okay, here we go...Board and Chipset (the one I own): ECS L4VXA2 v1.1E 11/19/2003 w/ up to 400/533mhz FSB s478 VIA VT8754 NB VIA VT8235 SB ...and this is straight out of the manual. | Re: Will skt 478 board run XP SP2? I was looking in the driver section under the download tab, and I see something labeled "Windows XP Embedded SP2". The OEM disc I have comes with SP2 already in there...is that what they mean by embedded? If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! |

| T-Rex | Re: Will skt 478 board run XP SP2? Embedded is a lighter version of Windows XP meant to provide a GUI and basic functions to a device such as a Palm-like device or a NAS server. So no, it's not that. :P My second link though is the driver you need. |

Thanks! I got that driver file saved to an RW, and if I use safemode on that new drive, I can get into windows so maybe I can install it and see what happens. If it's not fixed, then don't broke it! | |
