| Thanks Blondie. I'll be sure to do that, if I ever run across a part I or my company needs. |

| T-Rex | You can find 1U racks for about $80. The more expensive parts are the power supply and the CPU cooler and the ram, I tell ya. Asus, while not being the top brand in the server market, has nice little server boards that are likely to cost you half the price of a Tyan. I personally built more than 1 server on Asus server boards and they're great so far. I've built quite a few server on Tyan boards, and while I didn't go with the biggest boards available they all proved to have the same features for a steep price. http://www.asus.com/products3.aspx?l...l%20Processors 2 cents. |

| Thanks polobunny. I'll take a look at 'em. After all, the less it costs, the sooner it can be purchased . |

| I still don't see why you want a dual processor system in this day and age, when dual core processors are the norm and quad core is just around the corner. I'd just ramp up the memory, and spend the big bucks on the disk subsystem. But anyways, I've bought dual cpu boards from the guys at http://www.canadacomputers.com/ Workstation: P5WD2-P | 945D | 2x 1GB | X1950Pro XF | 4x Raptor 74G - RAID 0 | Lite-On SOHD-16P9S | Plextor PX-716A Laptop: Dell 640M | T2050 | 2x 512MB | 120GB | intel A/B/G | Bluetooth File Server: P5GDC | 330J | 2x 512MB | X700pro | Promise S150 SX4 w/256MB | 4x Seagate 200GB RAID 5 Other: Linksys WRT54GL | Linksys EG008W | LaserJet 1320n w/144MB |

| Thanks JCLW, but have you bought the racks from them as well? Just curious, that's all. ![]() |
