I think if you saw the company names on some of the boxes, you'd never look at ECS the same again. I know I was definitely surprised. time was really tight, its hard logistically to set up an event like this covering 3 countries, with customs, travel, etc....and i was impressed we got to take in as much as we did. I'm still trying to get caught up on emails, food, and sleep.....it was a Loooooooooooooong week INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU

HP - Asus Dell - Foxconn (but I'm feeling it's changed recently). I think Gateway literally uses Intel boards still. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64

| Dell used Intel boards for awhile too. No telling now. Probably whoever gives the best deal. |

| Well, about a year ago, Dell told several mobo manufacturers to start working on AMD boards for them. If I'm not mistaken, they told Foxconn, Asus, and perhaps ECS. I know the first two were on that list, but unsure of ECS. They were manufacturers in China/Taiwan though. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |
