For me, I can't decide. There's three for the last 3 sockets I've usedy.

Soyo Dragon SY-KT600 Ultra Platinum - Slot A

Asus K8N-Deluxe - s754

MSI Computer Corp. - Product K8N Neo2 Platinum - s939

And the:

EVGA | Products - 680I SLI - LGA775

These motherboards were the most overclocker friendly and stable boards I've ever used. All of them also experienced beyond the norm BIOS support and enjoyed a large customer adaptation base, which made after market options quite easy to obtain.

I would say my A7N8X which is still plugging along today and used daily, run 24/7 since the day I got it some 3-4 years ago. Did have a XP2200+ in it for a short bit but that chip was problematic so ever since I switched it up to the Barton 3000+ it has ran like a champ.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

DFI NF4 SLI-DR for me. amazing overclocking ability, bios options out the wazoo. only thing i really didnt like about it was the stock cooling on the chipset aka screamer. easy fix though. the board just felt like an F1 car.

now the Asus A8N32 SLI Deluxe felt more like a cadillac. ultra stable and just smooth.

I see a lot of you like the DFI NF4 SLI-DR. I did not start playing with DFI Until the UT CFX3200-DR it was not a bad board.... but it was picky about everything.
I played with the 590 SLI from DFI and found it to be just as bad as the other 590s on the market. Infact mine burned up and got to participate in the frisbee test.

The A7N8X is also one of mine! How could I forget that one? It's still running in a computer I gave my sister a while back.

You know, I've been running a 590 SLi for a few months now with no hiccups or problems. Maybe it's because this is my first real "enthusiast" board, but whats so screwy with the 590 SLI to get a bad rap?

I recieved one from nVidia it was a Foxconn, the first board died on me taking a stick of RAM and a 7900GTX. When running in SLI.
The next one died as soon as I plugged in the 2nd GPU again, but this time did not take out the GPU (thankfully).
The next 590 SLI I worked with was an Asus. it would shut off randomly and would give the most enjoyable errors when running in SLI.
If I put 4 sticks of RAM in the baord it would not post.
The next one I worked with was the DFI, this wonderfull board blew up as soon as I tried to OC it.
sparks everywhere! Dead X2 5000+
I have an Asus Crossfire but have not been able to work with it since the demise of the 5000+.
I still have an FX-62 but I do not want to chance loosing that CPU.

Based on this experience and the input I have recived from others, I came to the opinion that the 590 was a bad board.

Damn, that many in a row you can't chalk up to chance. I'm running the Foxconn board, which Evga just rebranded, and it's been quite the champ so far. Then again I haven't tried running it in SLi either, but in overclocking it's held together even up to 2.6Ghz with the specs below. Wanted to go further, but the cheap value RAM couldn't take it and posted errors after an hours run of Memtest. Dropping down to 2.4-2.3 fixed this, but I know I can take the board and processor higher.
