its not working. Either i'm not scraping very good or my pencil isnt' conductive? I'm using a no 4. 2H pencil. Lead Head says the hardest lead is best.

hey how do i change these sli jumpers to 8x? i don't understand. I have that tweazer thing but i don't know how to change it.

ok i changed everything to 8x sli but nothing works... still a black screen when i turn it on. -_-" i'll try removing more epoxy or something. If anyone has any idea wuts happening let me know? could it be the psu? 450 antec smart power. venice is at stock until i configure everything again and i only have one hdd.

Are you sure the motherboard is still alive? Does it beep or light up or anything? are you using one video card or two? Your PSU should be enough for at least one card, and probably even two 6600GT's. Could you maybe take some pictures of what it looks like now?

yeah teh mobo is still good. The two yellow lights are still on... If i use one card its fine.

i'm also pretty sure i did a good job scrapping the epoxy i tihnk. I migth've even scratcht eh metal square.

this has been the 9th time trying to connect those two squares. My final conclusion. It doesn't work.

Follow the instructions verbatim....it works (I've modded three boards without any issues).

i tried 9 times!!! Thats the guide i've been following too. I've used the hardest and the softest pencil and both doesn't work. I've cleaned the epoxy 7 times and that doesn't work. What else can i do?!?!?!?!?!?
