I use Coffee Filters as well. They work fantastically.
I've heard how legendary arcticlean is. I am hoping that anitec gets some soon.

anyone know what colour epoxy is? i think there is this clear gunk on there but its not white like some other mobo pics i have seen.

on my SLI-DR the TIM was yellow, and it was a PITA even with Articlean! your best bet is to take an old credit card and gently try to scrape some of it off. HERE'S a chipset cleaning guide that angrygames over at DFI street wrote. i used it and it worked perfectly. also HERE is the guide to mod the Ultra-D to the SLI-D guide that was written over there. hope that helps you out :)

how do i know if it was successful or not?

When you go into the nvida video driver settings, there will be an option for SLI. Also, if you look at CPU-z or something that tells you what motherboard you have, I think it should say in there too.

i don't think it worked, cause the screen didn't show up. ITs all black.

that clear gunk is the epoxy DFI started putting on there to prevent people from modding the board. I used a knife and gently scraped the epxoy off the contacts I needed to connect....be very careful doing that as you can ruin your motherboard
