Most DFI boards that I've used are very stable and work. This might just be the odd one out.

DFI has known to give major headaches, someone said on XS, that all of the DFI boards that they have gotten never booted on the first try

I believe that DFI is a good brand. They make good boards for experienced or advanced users. I agree that sometimes things don't work on the first try. I've worked with several boards and they've all worked on the first try, except for this one. All have been easy to work with in the BIOS, since most of the time I know whats what.
