Is Rich talking to himself!?

Also, nice article! Although, didn't the DFI nForce2 and nForce4 (a BIOS release fixed the voltage problem however) have alot of problems with killing CPUs?

Another thread got off topic, which is why i moved the post here.
As to your question, no, they didn't kill CPUs....people pushing too much voltage through the boards killed CPUs, and it was a rather isolated incident.

ah. Thanks for the info, I always thought there was a problem with the mobo regulating voltage to the cpu. Hm, with that info I'll trust my hard earned money to DFI then.

DFI makes probably the finest enthusiast level boards, sorry, but if ASUS did a better job with support and BIOS updates, and MSI did a better job keeping their boards on the shelves more than 3 months it might be different, as it is, DFI has issues like everyone else, but I recommend their products

Excellent interview Cap. I'm almost glad I didn't buy the DFI now. I'm having to relearn quite a bit of terminology just going from and Asus AMD board to an Asus Intel board.

Yep, DFI has fantastic mobo's!! I try to keep at least 2 or 3 in stock all of the time. They are not a big seller here, but there is a lot of people that know what they are, and that they are good boards.
I used to run MSI for quite some time. KT3 ultra, KT4 ultra, and Delta 2 Platinum. But Capper is right, they don't have there current model out for very long!!!
Asus......Jeez, I bought one of there KT133 mobo's years ago, and it was a great board, but god, try to get updates, or just try to get to there web site It might load in 10min or so!! And to get a new version of a Bios......Yea ok

Free Bird tried downloading from their site and said, "Damn this is waayy too long, I'm through with this"

I normally look for an mirror or alternative to ASUS's main site for BIOS/Driver updates.
