| 7600GS is slower and has slower grade ram. I have the 7600GT and it gets me by. In all seriousness though, if you plan on playing any of the newer games coming out, i'd recommend the 7900GS or the x1950pro at the very least. | I'm Diggin it! | This is just me personally, but I'd go with Newegg.com - EVGA 256-P2-N751-TR GeForce 8600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Retail before I went with the ATi version of DX10. The 8600GT performs better in 85% of instances I've found reviews on. Also, it's an EVGA board. As long as you register within 30 days of receiving it, you have an awesome warranty. The 8600GT also uses GDDR3 instead of the slower GDDR2 on the ATI board. And for only $20 more after MIR. | If you wanted to save a few more bills I would use this card Newegg.com - XFX PV-T86J-YAHG GeForce 8500GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail it did eveything but run Oblivion at high frame rates. I used it till I got a 8800 GTS New rig: Antec900 case Rosewill 500W PSU MSI P6N platinum 650i sli mobo ![]() Q6600 processor 6GB Corsair xms DDR2 800 RAM EVGA 8800GTS superclocked 320 MB GPU 160GB Maxtor hdd 250GB Maxtor hdd 750GB Seagate hdd Lite-on DVD burner windows vista home premium 64bit Samsung 20" widescreen LCD |
