| how would i place a cpu that is supported by an bios update into a mobo that hasnt got the bios update yet? i mean i have the update file its an exe but i dunno if i shud place the cpu in and risk it then install the bios support ? what should i do? and is the new ultra durable 2 range any good? | ive heard those gigabyte boards are ment to be ace. I was planning on getting a gigabyte p35 when the the intel cpus come out (aslong as there not 2 pricy in the uk) |

| About the BIOS update, you might want to put the CPU in. The BIOS may detect the CPU as a different CPU (i.e. Core 2 Duo as a Pentium D), but when you update the BIOS, it should detect the CPU correctly. Good Luck!! ![]() |
