| Re: ASUS Striker II Extreme Motherboard Review Well, I've said many times in the past, ASUS makes some of the best products out there. Most of the time, you can buy an ASUS product and it work out of the box, and for the reasonable life of that component, without issue.
But God help you if you have an issue that requires replacement. To me, I'd rather have to wait an hour for a 500k download and bitch about that than 1+ week for an RMA process to even begin. Much less the 3+ weeks for a board to be shipped once they get the bad one. And lets not even get into the phone support they have.
And God help your wallet if some careless ASUS employee physically damages the board when they receive it or damages the one they ship you.
I have voted for their customer service for the last 2 years with my wallet. And in my recommendations. Once it's changed, so will my attitude towards them.
