Remember, those features (or lack of) for the 6100 and 6150 IGP's are only relevant if you are using the onboard video to do all of those things.

Which is probably the only reason one would buy this board like this in the first place, isn't it? To not need to buy a seperate graphics card, but to have the option later.

I used to own the ASUS A8N-VM CSM Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX , which also uses the Nforce 430 Chipset. It had the Geforce 6150 onboard. Let me tell you it's not anything to write home about. If your not gaming it's great, but for gaming its worthless. It's a great little board, but if your planning to use Linux do not get any board with this chipset. There are known issues with Linux. I gave up and traded this board to Simple who needed a Micro ATX board.

Usually, but not always. Many people want a small form factor gaming system to haul to LAN parties or just to take up less space on the desktop. I am one such example of someone with a mATX motherboard with a nice add-on video card (X1900GT).

Like Hitman mentioned, onboard video is fine and dandy, but if you want to do any kind of 3D gaming with it then you might as well forget it.

They are great boards for the money. If your building a budget system it will work just fine. Just keep in mind these are NOT OC friendly boards either. Its just your basic Mobo with some nice features.
