501 bios release for Asus P5WD2-E - Page 2

I contacted Asus via email asking them will P5WD2-E 975X(with bios 501) support Conroe, so maybe they will respond.......

They may not answer since because conroe isnt released yet...

They might not answer, but probably not because Conroe hasn't been released yet... Probably just because it's a single, not urgent e-mail to an extremely huge company with "better" things to worry about. I really hope they do respond though so we have some more concrete answers...

Here is the email response I recieved this morning. Now the 965XE was supported on the previous 405 bios. This new 501 bios was released for 'new cpu support'. What other new CPU are there. Asus probably cannot comment on conroe because of NDA.....
