| 650i kinda seemed like a "pointless" release...dont you think? what with the 590 and 680 chipsets out and killing it, why would u need to stick another one in there? its not much of anything really...the SLI performance doesn't compare to the 680i chipset, and i just dont think the value is worth the product. anyone? |

| I'm Evil | A 650i board offers many of the same features as a 680i board, the boards I'm currently testing have fairly simples BIOS' but the performance is actually very good.....and most of these boards are in the $100-120 range. | Colonel Calamity | Thats what I like about the DS3, its a budget board with one 16x PCIe slot but tons of abilities with everything else ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| I'm Evil | I'm personally a big fan of the P965 chipset, excellent features, great overclocking, affordable. I look at the 650i the same way, there are benefits to the NVIDIA chipset that also make it an excellent overclocker considering the budget aspect. For those not running SLI or Crossfire, these boards are perfect INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU |
