| I can't say anything about Kingston and over clocking, but have had numerous kits before (think about 5-6 dual-channel) that had no problems running on Abit, ASUS and MSI boards at stock speeds. This for a lack of trying rather than a problem with the RAM kits. I've had excellent results OC'ing OCZ and Corsair kits running with C2D and C2Q Gigabyte Boards. | The G.Skill kit is great at OCing, thanks to the Micron D9 IC's... I love the G.Skill I have now. The Crucial kits are great because Crucial is part of the Micron company, so all of the Crucial Ballistix kits have the famed Micron D9 IC's... perfect for OCing! | Not to mention the fact that if you overclock, you may have set your ram to be 667 but that doesn't mean it's what it's going to be running at. It will actually be running higher so if you get some 800 then your ram should handle whatever overclock you might do. | You could always get 800 speed RAM now (it will work in your mobo but run @ 667). Then when you upgrade your mobo or build a new system later, you won't need to buy more RAM. codepath PIII 1GHz Slot 1 256MB RDRAM nVidia GeForce2 32MB Maxtor 20GB IDE Hard Drive |
