Double Data Rate RAM, DDR. This means that the listed frequency of the RAM is double what it actually is due to being able to read and write at the same time.
Example: DDR2 800 RAM is really running at 400MHz, but because it can read and write data in one clock cycle instead of one at a time, it's listed as 800MHz. Essentially, it's just double.

Setting the RAM to DDR2 533 makes the RAM run at 533Mhz. DDR2 1066 is really a problem with naming, as that's what it's rated for overclocked. Meaning the RAM is guaranteed to run at 1066MHz, overclocked from the standard 800MHz. Thats why you pay a premium for the 1066 RAM, its the cream of the crop. Of course you can usually take it higher then that, but 1066MHz is what the manufacturer is guaranteeing that memory will run at.

If the board does support natively up to 1066, which Yellow's post says it does, you may need the latest BIOS for it.

On the RAM itself, there is usually a sticker which lists the timings, voltage, etc.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 + Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme
DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL + Thermalright HR-05 IFX
2GB G.Skill 800MHz F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB
Silverstone Decathlon 650W
Western Digital 250GB SATA II

This is when the manufacturer's specs come into play, let's see.

1066MHz DDR2

EPP 5-5-5-15
(CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS)

Available in 2GB (2x1024MB) Dual Channel Kits

Unbuffered

OCZ Lifetime Warranty

2.1 - 2.3 Volts
240 Pin DIMM

Copied from OCZ's website here: OCZ Technology | Products | Memory | OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Reaper HPC Edition

So I would set the voltages to 2.2v, which most of us here agree is the safe limit for DDR2 RAM when overclocking. Any higher and you risk damage. The timings should be 5-5-5-15 2T, which is normal for running RAM at 1066MHz

Since the specs goes up to 2.3v, I think he should set it to 2.3v first, then see if he can scale back. EVP goes up to 2.35 without losing warranty, if you're going extreme :P
