I've seen kits from Corsair, Kingston, and OCZ that have breached 2000MHz.....until lately its taken timings around 10-10-10-24, which isn't too impressive. As to motherboards, the X38s are good boards, but for whatever reason seem to be poor choices for high speed memory.....except this ASUS Maximus I'm using now, which has a default 16000FSB setting instead of the 1300FSB options found on most other offerings. The P35s OCed very well, but just can't handle anything over 1750FSB with their 1066FSB strap. The X48 will offer better memory options, but considering the price and the buzz, its not worth the money they are planning on charging for it.
