HAHA, nope, I guess you are right. The original Newegg product page and the link I posted to the Intel spec page both used to show a 4MB L2 cache. Intel and Newegg have both changed it to a shared 2MB L2 cache indicative of the Allendale Core 2 Duo core found on the E6300 and E6400.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! :flame:

I'm going to harass Intel to get a free CPU. I notified them of the error and they still did not reply to my e-mail. :flame:

Same thing as the AMD AM2 Opterons (12xx)...same processors as the 4000/4400/4800+ ... just different name.

Though there are some deals to be had there...fx-60 for $435 and FX-62 for ~$630 this november once amd cuts prices on ALL its opterons...
