Also, sorry for bumping a really old thread. I was trying to figure out whether or not to start a new thread or renew this one. Guess next time I'll just start a new post. ![]() | |

| Colonel Calamity | wow thats about the price I paid for me E6600 a few months back from Newegg... now they have the Q6600 for the same price... I may have to look into a P35 and Q6600 if my DS3 keeps giving me fits ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| I believe Newegg's pricing is done by computer. If people continue to buy them at a very quick rate, they increase like this. Other places, will still have them at the good old ~$300. ex. tankguys, eagle, etc. EDIT: i think this thread was for a long time ago, so my post would be irrelevant. ) for the past week or so, maybe longer. I think it was just that mad scramble when they first came out that drove the price up. One thing I do wish Newegg does: list the stepping revision and Tankguys, etc. Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 + Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL + Thermalright HR-05 IFX 2GB G.Skill 800MHz F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 320MB Silverstone Decathlon 650W Western Digital 250GB SATA II | |
