I hear ya. I was barely excited for dual core... so quad core isn't going to affect me a bit.
It's ridiculous, they can't make better chips so they put 2 instead of 1!

Yeah, exactly right polobunny. I can't imagine that platform would be a money maker for AMD. It's crazy to think that they (AMD) would go through all this money and development time to create this QuadFX creature without thorough testing, but that must have been about what they did. I can't imagine they would spend money creating QuadFX if they knew it wouldn't outperform even their own processors! Stop beating around the bush AMD and just make a better architechture instead of wasting our time with useless "stopgap" product lauches like this!
