Sorry, Crucial makes the same kit, but in 1066MHz flavor. Here's a link: Newegg.com - Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

Seems overpriced compared to other 1066MHz kits.

Well here are my thoughts:

Silverstone TJ-07 Case
Silverstone 750w PSU
Q6600 Quad Core 2.4 Ghz CPU
EVGA 680i SLI Motherboard
EVGA Gtx Video Card
Crucial PC-8500 Ram
WD Primary 74Gb Raptor HDD
Secondary Seagate 320 Gb Storage HDD
Lite-on DVD Rom
Thermal Paste

Total: $2,381.90
Shippings: $36.67 3 Day | $126.52 2 Day | $133.79 Next Day
Total Mail In Rebate: $120.00

That's my first revision. Recommendations, opinions, and additions/subtractions are welcomed. I haven't decided on a secondary cooling system. The GeminII is appealing, but I'm unsure.

Edit: And looking to decide on a blue copperhead or g5 laser. Can't make up my mind. Big problem for me is that I live in the middle of nowhere. Town of 1000 people: net = great, town = bad. I have to drive almost two hours to find a half-@$$ed comp store (circuit-city, best buy). I can't even count on these places having cases/mice etc for me to observe hands on... =(. Hard to decide on a nice mouse when I can't feel it. So many places simply don't carry the good stuff =(.

i feel your pain. i just moved from san diego where i had a best buy down the road and fry's 10 minutes away. i rarely bought my parts from there but at least i could go and check out cases and mobos before i ordered them online. now i'm in the desert where there is nothing. i've asked several people about where i could find computer parts or electronics and the most popular response i get... Target

Looks good, what CPU cooler are you going to get? (DO NOT GO WITH THE STOCK COOLER) The geminII is a great choice, but there are many more. Here are some;

thermaltake Big Typhoon
Thermaltake V1
Zalman 9700/9500

and many more including the GeminII.

How do these compare with each other. All of them utilize heat pipes, radiator fins, and a fan..... ? I've read that the GeminII was better than the Big Typhoon by several degrees...

The cooling performance of the GeminII really depends of the fans you use. The GeminII really benefits motherboards with passive heatpipes. All of the coolers I mentioned are good choices. I keep saying the GeminII because I have personal experience with it. The other coolers have gotten good reviews, but I don't know personally.
