Didn't you also hear that from me? =P Remember, i've had TCCC and TCCE.
I have difficulty believing 4 sticks of TCCC can run like this. Not doubting of you, just the informations being reported.

As for your SuperPI, how was your CPU clocked? Ultimately you want to have the highest frequency your CPU and RAM can acheive w/o failing. SuperPI relies on both, so it would only be normal to assume that if your CPU had a lower frequency when you did the test your 1M took longer.
That's without even accounting weird "factors" such as divider "bugs", your board not reporting correct information and all other strange things that could happen.

The Pi 1M time that took longer was still at 2.7GHz, loosening the timings, bumping the vDimm and increasing the RAM's speed gave me 3sec better Pi time....I don't see how its hard to believe 500MHz at 3-4-4-8 @ 2.7v..

Ranger you know thats not all I said...I run Super Pi 1M, 16M, 32M. 30-60 Minutes of SP2004. Then I do the final test using WCG(A folding project). WCG has been 100% error free for over a day now... Most importantly, I see if my rig can do the things I use it to, gaming, web browsing, etc..

Whatever. 4 sticks of 256mb TCCC running like that, i'm not giving it a long time that's all.

3-4-4-8 is pretty relaxed timings....

Not saying otherwise. I'm still doubtful of the performance. This seems all way too weird, though you're running 4 sticks thus can't use 1T command rate so that might be why you're getting better results with a higher frequency.

Any cooling on that?

Well... I have no clue what any of you are talking about. Overclocking is the thing I know least about. Probably because I have Dells...

Anyways, at least your 1M SuperPi time is better than mine. Mines 47ish secs. I envy those with C2Ds and their 25s times.

Bah there's no "real" reason to envy them, i'm sure alot of people will agree, down the road in real world performance it means almost nothing.
Whether it takes 50s or 15s for a SuperPI 1M, as long as your computer does what you need it's all good.

I remember seeing E6700 @ 4300mhz getting <12s for the 1M!
