Try up to 1.5v, over there it's not worth it in my opinion.
Even then, I prefer to run my 3800 @ 2.45ghz 1.375v than it @ 2.7ghz 1.45v or whatever I used to run it. It's just too much heat.
You might want to use A64Tweaker 0.61 BETA to do your quick testing, so you don't have to fiddle around too much going from BIOS to Windows all the time. After you think you hit the wall then you can go fine tune in the BIOS, just a thought.

Great idea!! I will get that A64Tweaker. I have heard of it before, just couldn't remember the name, thanks for bringing it up Polo.

I think that I liked it set at 2.6ghz. It seemed very quick, and stable. My only prob, at least I believe, is that stupid value ram. I think if I can get a half a** set of ram installed, it will be lightning fast at 2.6ghz.

Well if you can set a good divider and keep your RAM around it's maximum speed it's all good IMO.
Like if you can do 2.6ghz with a 10X multi and a 166mhz mem divider (ram @ 216mhz) it would be neat. Else you could try 2.5Ghz same mem divider.

Yea, that is what I was running at the 2.6 setting.
260FSB, 10x multi, 4x HTT, but had to set the ram at 150 other wise the system wouldn't boot.

Try 2.5Ghz, it's still quite a valueable leap from your stock 2Ghz. :D

Yep, had that running
250FSB, 10x multi, 4x HTT, and mem at 166. It was real solid and stable at that setting.

Try incrementing the FSB 1 by 1 than running an OCCT from now on until you hit the wall. Who knows, if you can get 255FSB it's even better than 250FSB no? =D
