@ Yuri, can you try something for me? Drop your CPU multiplier down to 5x, lower the Hyper Transport multiplier to 3x, and put you ram on the 100Mhz divider, and test to absolute highest FSB your motherboard can attain, then once you get that, gradually bump your CPU multiplier up, while still keeping the HTT multi and ram divider low. My old gigabyte was like that, it walled at about 225 FSB until I dropped all the multipliers down

Well I was just messing around tonight, and so far I have got this 3800 x2 up to 2.44 gigs at 4x HTT and running the voltage at 1.32v.

I did how ever have to drop my memory down to 166 to get it to boot and be completely stable. I can see now that my ram, which I might add is not the ram in my sig as I have sold that ram. (dang I need to update my sig). I am just running some kingston value ram. Man I need to change that soon.

Will try to get some more tomorrow night I guess. I really don't think that I will be able to attain polo's 2.7 with this ram.

Ok now so far tonight, I am up to 2.5ghz at 4x HTT, and 1.36 volts and stable:rock:

Pushing my way up a little at a time, and then testing the system. Going to head on to the ol trusty Bios and jump up some more:deal:

Well now I am at 2.6ghz at 4x and still at 1.36 volts. With a FSB of 260 and 10x divider with 4x HTT gives the system a total of 2,080 transfer rate. In reality the transfer rate should not be over the rated 2,000, but, only being 80 over might not be that bad,,,,,,,I guess?

This is by the way Polo, also one of the Manchester cores as well. Not sure if I will ever be able to hit the 2.7 without dropping the divider down to 9x as well. I guess time will tell. I suppose I will do some stress testing now to see if the 2.6ghz is totally stable or not.

I was able to get my 4800 to 2.760Ghz stable at 1.375V, 12 multi and 230 FSB. At a 10x Multi and 283, I hit 2830 stable with a 3HTT and 1.4V. I had to bump the ram voltage a tad too, but only by .25 and relax the timings to t2 and 6-7-6-8.

I can do 225x12Multi all day long with stock voltages though.

And that's at T1 command rates and 4.5 HTT

Run some OCCT & then prime.
My 2.7ghz was looking rock stable, but it fails after more than 24 hours.

Well it wouldn't boot at 270FSB with 10x divider:hmpf:
Got to get up in the morning real early, so I guess I will try some more tomorrow night and update at that point. I do think a lot of my problems stem from that damn cheap kingston value ram:alberteinstein:

Did you drop your HTT at that FSB? 270x4=1080. Should be easily handled, but sometimes my board runs at 1100, sometime 1050 is the limit depending on ram timings and multiplier.

Yea, I tried it at 3x HTT. It still wouldn't post. I even dropped the damn memory down to 140. Oh well will try dropping the multiplier down to 9x tomorrow night and jump up the FSB above 270 and see what happens.
