| Yeah in a week or so when I have the money I am buying a E8400, the dual-core penryn, it is actually called Wolfdale...... I am satisfied with my Quad-core kentsfield @ 3.2GHz, and it's a Xeon so it's super tough. I do have a burning desire to hit 4+GHz on that E8400 though. The feeling of 4ghz is so nice... | So Rich, Intel has finally let you in on the ES chips like the other "bigger" review sites? That is great news! ![]() |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | We'll see. There is a story behind this and 2-3 other reviews that could end up being a real problem for me. I don't want to go into the story, but I'll just say it all depends on how many page views the article gets (spread the word), and how well the review is received. | We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | Thanks Nate, maybe we'll get a few more hits on the article, and maybe we'll get flamed by the guys with the Quad stage phase change monsters who have their Q6600 OC'ed to 8GHz. | We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | I won't really express my opinion, I have dealt with a few people from over there, and my experience hasn't been positive (BBMod's, Chilly1).....needless to say, I'd never recommend anyone deal with those guys, but there are some very good people over there, and a lot of good information from the extreme cooling crowd. | We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | As always, I'd recommend the mainstream or budget Quad Core.......as we touch on at the end, the "Editors Choice Award" went more to the technology than the individual processor. | T-Rex | I thought so. With a price like that, it's always a tad hard to recommend it even to speed freaks. :P |
