hmm. Margin of safety. Its always good. However, i don't follow those rules. LOL my cpu is so cheap now anyways.

Even if my CPU is cheap, I like to keep everything. I can't stand myself if I break some of my hardware. My ram is at stock volts too, I won't run my ram at over 1.5v unless were talking about a kit like Mushkin Redlines.

everything else below is how it was set at default

now with 1.475 + 110% that will give 1.59v in the bios to the cpu so you may want to change that to your liking or what your chip can handle

i know that the ram it totally different so your going to have to adjust it to your specific ram, i just posted mine just to give you an idea of what i did and didnt do with my memory
I'm not sure about going quite that high on the voltage, but as it stands I'm not having any problems at all with booting or in system/gaming performance. In fact, even though I'm at a 500Mhz (35%) overclock, you couldn't tell by the system temps I'm getting. I haven't messed with my RAM at all, and might go to a stock CPU speed first if I do, because I don't know what changing the timings will do. I remember changing the RAS settings on my P4 system once from 8 to 7, then from 7 to 6 and the thing just said, "Nope!". So, but with this new setup, I am unfamiliar with what the RAM can take.

I did a test last night: I turned all my fans up to max, and had the back door open, and these are the results I got WITH the 2.7ghz OC:

It's the voltage that we're concerned about, not the speed.

And we do have a little SuperPI Competition...

EDIT, ya beat me to it Tyreal :P
