667mhz might be a little on the slow side (bandwidth issues). 800mhz is pretty much what you should be looking for if you were to buy today. DDR2 is going for dirt cheap now a days and you should really have a look at that Crucial kit I linked to.

You are correct sir. The Intel FSB's are "Quad-Pumped", so it is four times as fast as the actual effective speed. A 1333MHz divided by 4 yields a 333MHz FSB, which is the minimum RAM speed you should get so the RAM does not run slower than the FSB. You can get faster RAM like DDR2-800, but you won't want to get anything less than DDR2-667. I would also suggest getting DDR2-800 as the prices are very reasonable, it is very compatable and friendly to most all motherboards, provides great performance, and a reasonable amount of overclocking headroom.

These values tell your system how fast to run your RAM compared to the FSB of the system. The 1:1 setting will run your RAM at the same speed of your FSB. So if you had an E6600 processor with the 1066MHz "quad-pumped" FSB, your effective FSB speed is actually 266MHz. With a 1:1 setting, your RAM would also run at 266MHz (or DDR2-533 speed). The other FSB:RAM ratios create different RAM speeds. The 2:3 for example means the RAM will run at 3MHz for every 2MHz of FSB (or 1.5 times as fast as the FSB). So setting the FSB:RAM ratio to 2:3 on your E6600 machine will make the RAM run at about 400MHz (or DDR2-800 speed) because 266 x 1.5 = 400.

Just remember also that these ratios still hold true under overclocking conditions as well. So if you increase your FSB from the stock 266MHz to 275MHz with a 2:3 ratio, your RAM will also increase in speed to about 412MHz.

yeah aria's one of my faves. the first order I had with them had a big problem and it took about 1-2 weeks to get it sorted, the problem was the dvd rom drive was out of stock but marked as in stock. they gave me a dvd rw for no extra cost for all the trouble
