|  Yeah, I told him earlier that he should do it if he wants to. And he has a Dimension 8300 BTW. Up to 3.0GHz Prescotts are guaranteed to work no matter what. | how much ram do you have? you might get more perforance by getting more ram. E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz 2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz gigabyte P35 S3L eVGA 7600GT Stock 120 gig seagate ULTRA X-Finity 600w Sonata 2 w/ top fan G5 Lazer Mouse |

| hmmm. what video card do you have? Ever concider overclocking with software? EDIT: an 800xl seems fine until you get another whole new system. I think overclocking that northwood is the best thing right now. | Unfortunately I cannot OC my CPU because its a Dell. However, I've been informed that with a BIOS update, I can safely get a 3.2GHZ Prescott with a new dual-pipe heatsink. |

| You'd definetly want to get some better cooling for that rig before you try to OC it. A case with better airflow would be helpful too. |
